Long sleeve pure cotton shirt in a colourful check with a crisp white contrast yoke and inner cuffs. Comes in a linen style check and button down collar with useful chest pocket.
The excellent Chatham brand has been established for around 12 years now, and has been slowly making inroads into the quality clothing market, as both a gentlemans and a ladys outfitter.
Although primarily aimed at the sailing & casual clothing market, the cut of their cloth cannot fail to impress with sturdy construction, excellent attention to detail, and sensible, practical shapes to their garments. Shapes that still retain enough style and pizzazz to make perfect relaxed-evening attire.
Chatham make a complete range of clothing, from shoes to combines traditional craftsmanship with innovation, durable materials and attention to detail.
All their clothing and footwear is designed to be comfortable, functional and able to withstand all that nature can throw at them.
This shirt has a very solid feel to it, with great details such as the contrasting cuffs and collars.
It comes in vibrant colours (I favoured the pink) so will help you stand out from the crowd. It has an excellent cut, perhaps a little long in the body for my tastes (although this tends to help a shirt stay tucked-in), and importantly, holds its shape without crumpling and looking untidy.
Conclusion
Chatham products are definitely worth a look if you are hunting for something a bit different to whats provided by the big name shooting clothing companies.
Chathams products are in a similar price range, and while still maintaining their solid construction and practicality, they definitely offer something for the more stylish among us.
