Deben Pro Bench rifle rest

By Steve Moore

Tuesday, 15 July 2008

You can have the most accurate rifle combination in the world, but if the gun ain't pointing where the 'scopes looking you might as well give up and buy a catapult.

By the same token, when you're cleaning it, resting your pride and joy on a workbench or the kitchen table can sometimes do more harm than good.

So this is where this bench rest from Deben comes to the fore.

I've tried other shooting rests in the past but none have really proved sturdy enough to provide a rocksteady, stable platform when zeroing - with this rest making minute adjustments for elevation and windage are easy, precise and predictable.

The Pro Bench Rest is well made, rugged and will probably last a lifetime.
