Did I see twins when out deer stalking?

No he isn’t. Fallow do have twin fawns occasionally, as do red deer, but with a herd animal it is often very difficult to be sure who all those babies belong to.

If you really have managed to identify twins you are very lucky and should savour the memory.

I have seen it for certain only once and actually filmed it in Super-8, which gives you an idea of how long ago that was.

It was also the only occasion when the Kodak laboratories made a cock-up developing the film; the whole thing was bright yellow.

Kodak apologised profusely but I have never seen, let alone been able to film, anything like it again.

But I still have the memories.
