Is green tripe too rich for my ferrets?

FERRETS
Edward Cook
The best diet for any animal, including ferrets, is a varied one. Too much of the same thing can be bad for them, as well as boring.

A wild polecat, for instance, doesn?t eat just one type of food and I have yet to see such an animal in poor condition.

This in turn has convinced me that dried ferret food should not be first choice on the menu.

It?s much better, in my opinion, to alternate the type of food you feed as long as it?s fresh, and natural. Rabbit, chicken and fish are perfect.

By switching things around your ferret will benefit from different forms of nutrition, vitamins, and roughage etc.
