I?m not the only one who finds these difficult. Can you give us some advice, please?

Do you find it equally hard to hit crossing birds thrown above head height, or rabbits bouncing along the ground in front of you. No?

Then there?s no real reason why these other birds should cause such problems either.

Both, after all, need to be given some sort of forward allowance if you are going to hit them.

However, when shooting down on birds like this there can be a tendency and temptation to lift your head from the stock to ?watch? the target.

To prevent this, put your weight well forward over the front leg.

Birds like this are also easily missed over the top so keep those gun muzzles swinging just under the line.
