The Chippendale School of Furniture's annual, intensive 30-week furniture making course begins on 12th October.
This year we are in the unusual position of having 2 remaining places on this highly sought-after course.
The course covers all aspects of furniture design, furniture making and furniture restoration.
It also teaches gilding, carving and many other specialist skills.
This is all combined into a framework of business management and marketing skills.
Minimum age 18.
No upper limit.
Suitable for beginners with no experience as well as accomplished hobbyists; the course is designed to bring you up to professional standard.
Excellent opportunity for a career change, career break or even just a practical, hands-on gap year.

This auction includes a wide selection of sporting guns and rifles, many by the great makers Purdey, Boss and Holland & Holland.
A very fine group of guns by Asprey are a highlight and comprise a pair of .410 sidelock ejectors, a .470 double rifle and a .222 double rifle cased with a 28-bore sidelock ejector gun.
The afternoon session comprises a diverse range of European and Eastern armour and edged weapons, flintlock and percussion rifles, guns, pistols and revolvers, Japanese weapons, accessories and other items relating to the armourer and his craft.
