The Gundog Club is starting an eight-week training course for spaniels, retrievers and HPRs in Telford, Shropshire, on 10 January.
The course includes 8 weekly sessions (7 training and 1 test), and the Grade One test, it costs £158 (plus VAT).
There are a maximum of six places available, and all dogs attending must be registered with The Gundog Club, which can be done on the website.
At the trainers discretion, those making sufficient progress may if they wish, take the Grade Two test in place of Grade One.

BASC is holding a Young shot and parent day on 16 Jaunary at Wigtown Bay, in Dumfriesshire.
The day includes instruction in guns and gun safety, quarry identification, goose and duck calls and decoying.
The course costs £80 per parent and Young shot combination.

A gun loading course held by the National Gamekeepers Organisation at The Coniston Hotel, Coniston Cold, Skipton, North Yorkshire on 7 January.
Following an accident in a grouse butt last season when an insurance company asked if the loader in question had been trained, the NGO has put together a course for loaders to meet legal requirements for training to have been provided.
The fee is £25 for NGO members and £30 for non-NGO members, which will include a DVD of all the important points as well as an attendance certificate.
