20th March 2010 - 20th March 2010
The National Wildfowling Conference provides an important opportunity to explore some of the key issues which have to be addressed by both BASC and wildfowlers.
There will be a review of how in the UK goose abundance and distribution has changed in the last 60 years.
In the afternoon there will be a lively presentation by wildfowler, ecologist and contributor to Sporting Gun Magazine, Tom Cameron, looking at that age old question-is big always better?
BASCs Paul Williamson will also give a presentation about the work he is doing to help wildfowling clubs buy land.
It will be held at Ramada Hotel & Resort Birmingham. To attend the conference the price is £10. To stay in a single room at the hotel overnight, it will be £100, which includes dinner, bed & breakfast, the conference, lunch, tea and coffee and for a double room £60pp for the same package.
