The show attracted a record 85,000 visitors this year.
Paul Castleton of Stourbridge was presented with the AYA No1 .410 gun which he won at the Sporting Gun Show after entering ST’s prize-draw. The shotgun, which is worth more than £7,000, was supplied by Sportarm of Dorchester. Paul told Shooting Times: “I will keep the gun in my family forever and pass it on to my sons.”
The Shooting Times stand attracted hundred of visitors over the two days.
The terrier racing proved extremely popular this year.
They were nearly as many dogs as people at the show.
After the cancellation of the CLA game fair, traders were relieved that the show attracted so many people.
