The Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire Branch of the Utility Gundog Society held a 14-dog a.v. all-aged retriever trial at Castle Goring by kind invitation of J. Fitzroy Somerset.

The judges were Tony Turner, Barbara Kuen, Ron Taylor and Mark Lucas.

As always the day ran like clockwork with keepers Martin and Kieran producing plenty of good birds over the guns.

The club are very grateful to Fitzroy, who also kindly presented the awards, and the guns for sharing their day.

RESULTS
1 Beth Rayner with Hobhearn Comet

2 Gwen Butcher with Labcrown Goshawk at Broomwood

3 Paul Jennings with Oakvalley Black Sabbath
