The Golden Retriever Club of Northumbria held a two-day trial at Callaly Castle.

The stake was judged by Hugh Paterson, Greg Paterson, Jennifer and Gordon Hay.

This was a very emotional trial for Tess Lawrence as she was running a daughter of FTCh Willowric Ruff and only two weeks prior to the trial Tess had lost Ruff, winner of the 2007 retriever championship.

Tess was in a flood of tears when the winner was announced.

RESULTS
1(& Best on a runner) Tess Lawrence with Levenghyl Cranefly

2 Tony Parnell with FTCh Tweedshot Maximus of Blackarn

3(& Guns’ Choice) Tim Brain with Rockside May

CoM Alf Gorman with Kai of Glencoe
