Cocker spaniel field trials results

The Novice Cocker Spaniel Field Trial at Castle Rising, King’s Lynn, and the Open Cocker Spaniel Field Trial at Congham, King’s Lynn, saw cocker being put through their paces.

The results were as follows…

Novice Cocker Spaniel trial

1st – Ravensthorpe Saphira, owned and handled by A. Cooper
2nd – Leawyn Lynas, owned by J. Yates and handled by Simon Tyers
3rd – Larford Larn by Kyshant, owned and handled by A. Myers

Certificates of Merit were awarded to Miss Little Perfect, owned and handled by Colin Cole, and Coillbaile Hayes of Bitternboom, owned and handled by John Naylor.

Open Cocker Spaniel trial

1st – FT CH Chyknell Hidie, owned and handled by Joe Shotton
2nd – Naxshivan’s Honesty, owned and handled by Jaseon Atkinson
3rd – Fernmoss Fizz, owned and handled by Roy Ellershaw
4th – Heolybwlch Sandy, owned and handled by Gareth Davies

Certificates of Merit were awarded to Scarlet Dusk, owned and handled by Andrew Whitehouse, Redmire Rose, owned and handled by Martin Deacon, and Timsgarry Gable owned and handled by Steve Wanstall.

Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club Secretary, said: “The last two Kennel Club trials of 2012 saw some spectacular cockers, and showed the remarkable talent we have in our working dogs. A big congratulations goes out to all the winners, and we look forward to the next Kennel Club trial at the end of January.”
