Vets' dismay over DEFRA's cost sharing plans

Gamefarmers are concerned that they could end up contributing to the national disease bill

The British Veterinary Association (BVA) has hit out at DEFRA’s plans for Responsibility and Cost Sharing (RCS) in England, claiming the plans have caused consternation among vets

The RCS consultation was due on 16 December, but has now been delayed until later this month. The BVA said it raised questions about who would take control in the event of a serious disease.
