The Gloucestershire Ribeye shoot, a charity clay shoot in aid of the Countryside Alliance and the Gloucestershire Air Ambulance, will take place for the 10th year running on August 29.

The shoot is open to 50 teams of guns, whose shooting skills will be given a firm test on a variety of sporting targets.

A superb ribeye steak lunch for 250 people and auction will then follow.

The auction offers a variety of sporting and non-sporting lots, including gun care, stalking and a day at the races.

Gloucestershire Countryside Alliance chairman and host of the shoot, Mike Mitchell, said: “This is the 10th anniversary of the Gloucestershire Ribeye shoot, which grows more and more popular each year.

“We have made many challenging and exciting changes to this year’s layout to test the keener shots, and there are discounted rates for anyone aged 17 and under.

“It really is a great day out for everyone, and we hope to raise a significant amount for two fantastic organisations.”

For more information on the shoot, including details of the auction lots and how to enter your team, and to bid on the silent auction, visit www.ribeyeshoot.com.
