BASC is urging shooters to respond to Natural Englands (NE) consultation on how coastal access will be implemented in England.
The 2009 Marine and Coastal Access Act requires NE to publish guidance on the way it plans to implement the new access rights, including how the trail will be aligned and access rights will be managed.
A BASC spokesman said: Plans for coastal access continue to gather pace. The methodology for the creation of new coastal access rights will be contained in a NE guidance document."
"This guidance will explain how to make your voice heard when your stretch of coast is subject to coastal access proposals. The content of this guidance is currently the focus of a consultation, which closes on 5 February.
