Call for help with tail docking study in working dogs

The study will register working dogs and record any injuries they suffer.

The Glasgow Vet School study into the incidences of tail injury in working dogs is still keen to hear from dog owners who are currently working their gundogs or terriers.

The study, which the Scottish Countryside Alliance (SCA) is helping to promote, seeks to register working dogs and record any injuries that they suffer.

This study is part of a wider research project which the SCA hopes will prove that the ban on tail docking should be scrapped.

If you have a working spaniel, terrier or HPR and would like to take part, email tim.parkinglasgow.ac.uk
