A group of wild boar in the Forest of Dean, known as the 'Beechenhurst Six', will not be excluded from shooting plans, the Forestry Commission (FC) has confirmed.

Last year the boar were given a reprieve because the group had been taken to heart by local people, but the FC has announced that a new management plan, to be set in March, will not exempt the boar.
