Canine Partners, a charity that provides highly trained assistance dogs to people with disabilities, is inviting guns to join them on their Clay Shooting Challenge, Saturday 8th September at Holywell House, Hampshire.

The Canine Partners event, now in its eighth year, takes place in the beautiful grounds of Holywell House by kind permission of the Earl and Countess of Clarendon.

This has become an annual fixture in the shooting calendar and is regularly attended by Canine Partners Patron HRH The Duke of Gloucester.

Each team consists of four guns that can be made up of either a team or individuals.

The competition is made up of six drives to include flying gnats - shooting specially designed radio controlled model aircraft targets!

Competitors will be treated to a hearty breakfast before they start and then a home reared and bred wild boar spit roast upon completion, courtesy of the Collet family, as well as wines from ES Fine Wines.

The fabulous silent auction and raffle includes prizes such as two tickets for Glyndebourne with a Leith’s picnic hamper, a day’s shooting in the Lambourne Valley for nine guns at the end of January, a three-night safari, and a one night stay at The Bell Inn, Bramshaw in the New Forest to include dinner, bed and breakfast plus 18 holes of golf.

Isabel Campbell, director of fundraising and marketing, comments: “This is a delightful yet competitive event in wonderful surroundings. If you enjoy clay shooting why not enter a team, or come along as an individual to be a part of this unique day, and know that you are raising vital funds to help change the lives of people with disabilities.”

Prices:
- Team of four guns £1,100
- Single gun £275
- Lunch only guests £50
- Children under 16 are free
