Beretta World Sporting Championships.

This prestigious clay shooting competition has been running for over 25 years and last year attracted over 1,000 entries.

NEW VENUE

The Holywell Estate is situated in the new South Downs National Park, in the unspoilt rolling countryside of the Meon Valley in Hampshire.

Holywell extends to over 800 acres of varied landscape including ancient semi-natural woodland, river meadows and historic parkland.

Holywell House, believed to date back to the 1700s is at the heart of this working estate and is home to the Earl and Countess of Clarendon and their family.

We are most grateful to the Earl and Countess for agreeing to host the Beretta World and we look forward to staging the event in this glorious setting.

PRIZES AND SPONSORS

Once again we are pleased to announce that; Breitling, ELEY Hawk, Clay Shooter magazine, Laporte clays and traps, and Peltor have all agreed to continue their sponsorship of the event.

With a total prize fund of over £25,000 including Breitling watches, Beretta Shotguns, Eley cartridges and Peltor earmuffs, there are several good reasons to participate!

The King?s Ginger will once again be in attendance, providing prizes and running post event tastings.

Our sponsors? commitment to the shoot, demonstrates the strength and popularity of this competition.

Karl Waktare, managing director of GMK, said: ?The Beretta World is one of the highlights of our year. It?s great to meet some of our loyal Beretta shooters, many of whom return year on year. 2013 will be an exciting year.?

?Once again we?ve got great support from some very generous sponsors and of course the new venue, which can only be described as stunning and impressive! It?s going to be a great weekend of exciting clay shooting!?

As in previous years the course will be designed by Bob Clarke and Peter Corney.

The Beretta world has become renowned for creating challenging and original courses that can test the more able shooter without excluding the less experienced shot.

The 120 targets will be shot over 15 stands, positioned in a variety of situations, over this new and attractive landscape.
