New sponsor for Gamekeepers’ Welfare Trust calendar

The Gamekeepers’ Welfare Trust offers help and financial support to gamekeepers, ghillies and their families in times of hardship, ill health and retirement.

A proportion of the funds raised from the sales of the calendar, the Gamekeepers’ Welfare Trust’s third, will also be donated to Hounds for Heroes, which provides trained assistance dogs to injured and disabled members of the armed forces and emergency personnel.

The theme of the 2013/2014 Gamekeepers’ Welfare Trust calendar is “Gamekeepers, Girls and Gundogs”, and shows the aforementioned in a variety of poses and scenic locations around the UK.

Helen Benson of the Gamekeepers’ Welfare Trust, said: “I have been absolutely delighted with the reception the previous calendars received and I hope this one can be just as or even more popular. Yet again it has been really good fun to do and everyone involved has been a pleasure to work with. It has been well-supported by organisations involved in country sports including Bell Ingram Sporting Lets and I cannot thank them enough as without sponsors it simply couldn’t have gone ahead.”

Charlotte Gilfillan of Bell Ingram Sporting Lets said: “The calendar is a very creative way to help raise funds for those who need support and I was delighted Bell Ingram Sporting Lets was part of helping make the next edition financially possible in aid of these fantastic charities. A lot of organisation goes into the production of the calendar and this year’s photographs are fantastic.”

The 2013/2014 Gamekeepers’ Welfare Trust is on sale now and cost £10 + P&P
