Can I repair the striker holes on my gun?

Pitted striker holes can usually be repaired - or in this case - replaced by a gunsmith.

The striker holes on my BSA gun are really badly pitted. Can anything be done to repair them (such as insert small sleeves into the breech) or should I just keep using it until it starts misfiring or breaking the striker heads which at the moment are hitting the cartridge primer in all sorts of places?

It sounds as if you are well overdue for a visit to the gunsmith because, the more you continue to fire the gun, the worse the problem is going to get.

It is quite possible for the striker holes to be restored to their proper diameter.

And, considering the gun has degenerated to this point, a good general overhaul at the same time would be a very good idea.

And do get the work done: affordable English side-by-sides like your BSA are pleasant to shoot, but just not made any more.
