Thank you to everyone who entered this year’s Sporting Gun Clubman Championship. It was fantastic to see so many of our regular competitors as well as a great number of newcomers. A big thank you also goes to our generous sponsors Anglo Italian Arms, Lyalvale Express, Promatic, the CPSA and Musto, without whom the Clubman would not exist, and of course Clive Bramley and his team from the Doveridge Shotgun Academy who ran the event.

Finally, congratulations to all our winners! It was a challenging shoot-off between the individual champions in torrential rain and gusts of wind but in the end Dave Rhodes, part of the Crabtree B Team, took the top prize. This year’s delighted overall Clubman Champion was Dave Inglis.

We have had some great feedback and here are just a couple:

“On behalf of Shipham Shooting Club I would like to thank you and your colleagues for putting on a fantastic competition this past Weekend, it went very well and everybody said it was even better than last year!”

“Just to congratulate you and the team for a wonderful weekend at Weston Park, we had a wonderful day shooting Saturday”

Further details and winners’ pictures will be in the November issue of Sporting Gun which is on sale from 1 October. In the meantime, here are the results:
