VIDEO! Sporting Gun magazine held a silent auction in aid of the charity Help for Heroes.

Browning kindly donated their 1,000,000th Browning B525 Superposed over-under.

The winning bid was placed by David Deptford, and the prize was presented at the 2009 Midland Game Fair.

David Deptford (left) received the 1,000,000th Browning from Sporting Gun editor, Robin Scott, Mark Elliott of Help for Heroes and Browning's country manager, David Stapley.

Mr Deptford won the B525 by bidding "a very substantial sum" in Sporting Gun's recent silent auction.

All the proceeds of the auction went to the Help for Heroes appeal.
