Ferreting on the Yorkshire Dales

Each year, around the time of the clock change, I find myself, like a moth to the flame, making a pilgrimage, subliminally drawn to the ferreting on those Yorkshire hills — and this year was no exception. Several hundred miles later we concluded our journey by driving through the villages that collectively make up the Dales. If this area were twinned with an animal instead of a town, it would undoubtedly be twinned with the rabbit.
Indeed, this was the reason for our visit: walking out with good friends — Sooty, Torchie and Richard — their dogs and a boxful of ferrets in search of our very own rabbits while keeping the onus on quality and quantity.
