The 2025 Beretta World Championships attracted close to 1,000 shooters to West London Shooting School over three days in July, demonstrating the continued appeal of the manufacturer’s flagship event.
Competitors travelled from across the UK and internationally, with American junior David Texas Ardis making the journey from North Carolina to compete in the junior category.
The championship served as a showcase for Beretta’s latest products, with the official launch of the new 694 Black DLC Edition shotgun featuring high-grade walnut stock, Steelium Pro barrels, and the company’s B-Fast balance system.
For the first time, organisers introduced a dedicated rifle range where participants could test firearms including the Beretta BRX straight-pull bolt-action rifle. The popular Tikka T3x Ace Game also returned, challenging shooters to hit playing cards pinned to 100-metre targets.
Jon Porter emerged as overall champion following dramatic shoot-offs, while Richard Faulds secured third place after a four-way playoff. The event concluded with multiple prize presentations across different categories and age groups.
The championship reinforced its position as a major fixture in the clay shooting calendar, combining competitive sport with product demonstrations in the traditional English sporting format.
