Is pigeon shooting over muck heaps an option?
I've noticed lots of pigeon in my area are drawn to stinking muck heaps on really hot summer days?
Have you ever decoyed them in these situations?

It is something that nobody has fully explained, but the general consensus is that pigeons are supplementing minerals, maybe those that have been depleted during the breeding season.
I have only done it successfully once, killing a bag of 30 odd birds with the late Chis Catlin, near his home in Stamford, Lincolnshire.
