The UK’s biggest sporting clay competition, the Beretta World Sporting Championships, will be held on July 2-4 at Meon Springs Fly Fishery, Hampshire.
Shooting championships.
There’s an impressive £21,000 prize fund this year, with prizes for the top ten shooters in each class and down to third place in the ladies, juniors and veterans classes.
Last year’s event attracted 937 entries and Karl Waktare, Managing Director of GMK Ltd, said: “We are absolutely thrilled the Beretta World is now the UK’s biggest sporting clay shooting competition. It is a great achievement for us and it is truly outstanding, given that everyone who enters must use a Beretta shotgun.”
This year the Beretta World Sporting Championships is set to break entry records.
Beretta World 2010 will follow the same format as 2009, with 120 targets over 15 stands.
Top course planners, Bob Clarke and Peter Corney, have worked hard to ensure the course exceeds all expectations.
The meticulously designed layout has been carefully created to be challenging and innovative – stretching the able shooter without embarrassing the less experienced shot.
Back by popular demand, will be towers and targets shot over water and through tree openings.
Shooters can enter the competition online at www.berettaworld.co.uk or can call 01489 579999 for an entry form.
