Contract type: Full time permanent

Working hours: Monday – Saturday, 40 hours per week across 5 days which will include up to 3 Saturdays per month.
Salary range: £30-35,000.00 per year depending on experience + commission

It is housed in a beautiful historical building, showcasing the full range of Beretta products, a luxury collection of sport and country clothing and accessories and exquisite gifts.

 

Job overview:

As a Gunroom Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing high-end customer service, adhering to firearms policies and procedures, and supporting other areas of the Beretta Gallery store in the absence of colleagues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in sales (experience within the gun trade is advantageous),
be confident, enthusiastic, well-presented, and highly organised.

 

Job requirements:

• Assist the Gunroom Manager with day-to-day operations, maintaining an accurate firearms register and related entries
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of shooting sports and the product range available at the Gallery
• Drive sales within the Gunroom, operating EPOS and processing payments accurately
• Accurate opening and closing of registers, ensuring all payment transactions are processed and recorded in accordance with company procedures
• Replenish sold stock promptly while maintaining high visual merchandising standards
• Receive new stock and update the firearms register as required
• Unpack, label, and display new stock, notifying Gunroom staff of changes
• Manage packing and Parcelforce duties for returns and servicing
• Maintain an organised Vault, ensuring the proper storage of gun cases, accessories, and repairs

 

Skills and experience:

• High-end retail/sales experience is advantageous
• Knowledge of firearms
• Gun trade experience
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Confidence and professionalism
