A 50p coin celebrating shooting sports has been launched by the Royal Mint.
Shooting sports celebrated by new 50p coin.
Designed by Londoner Pravin Dewdhory, the coin features a shooter shattering the Olympic logo and is one of 29 designs that represent the 29 Olympic and Paralympic sports to be contested during London 2012.
The designs were picked from nearly 30,000 entries in a Royal Mint competition open to members of the public.
The Royal Mint?s London 2012 sports collection goes into general circulation later this month.
