The Rural Business Awards aims to give recognition to businesses operating right across the rural sector with the Sporting Business Award celebrating a company that is successful not only in terms of the contribution it makes to the rural economy and people, but one that is also entrenched in the rural way of life and can demonstrate passion for the countryside.
EJ Churchill was described by the judging panel, made up of a number of industry leaders including the director general of the CLA, as being “an exceptionally well presented and established business with true rural heritage.”
Voted Best Shooting Ground in the UK at the IPC Shooting Industry Awards 2014, EJ Churchill hosted the World English Sporting Championship in 2014 and 2016 and celebrates its 125th anniversary in 2016.
