A combination of shoot season contributions and generous donations have helped raise more than £12,000 in memory of Ann Evans, founder of Bettws Hall, who died last August.
Bettws Hall announced that £12,810 was raised for Severn Hospice during the 2024-25 shooting season. The contribution will help the charity continue to provide vital care and support to individuals and families across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, and mid-Wales, who are living with incurable illnesses. The funds will go directly towards enabling the hospice to deliver its specialist services, free of charge, within its facilities and in patients’ own homes.
A family-run company, Bettws Hall was established by Ann and her husband Gwyn in 1989, and continues to offer exceptional driven shooting across six estates in mid-Wales and Shropshire.
Amy Evans, director at Bettws Hall, said: “My mother, Ann, was always deeply committed to Bettws Hall and to supporting our community. To see so many guests contribute to Severn Hospice in her memory is a true testament to the impact she had on those around her. We are so grateful for these donations, which will help Severn Hospice continue their vital work.”
Marc Brown, Bettws Hall Shoot sales manager, added: “Bettws Hall is incredibly proud of the generosity shown by its guests throughout the shooting season. Their willingness to support Severn Hospice is truly heartwarming, and this donation reflects their kindness and commitment to the local community
