To go on to someone else’s land without permission is trespass and if you carry a rifle or gun it becomes armed trespass.
Don’t go there!
With deer it’s slightly different in that you may go on to the neighbour’s land without permission if you have good reason to believe that permission would have been given had he known of the circumstances. And if you think that’s confusing, don’t blame me – I didn’t write this rubbish, I’m just repeating it because that’s what the Law says.
