A: Well, all I can say is that the chap near you is simply the village idiot and should be ignored at all costs!
Working with ferrets that bite isn’t fun and is simply unnecessary – if your ferrets are spiteful in any way then all it shows is that you have no skills with animals.
When I reach down after digging to retrieve a rabbit I trust all my ferrets not to latch on to me. The tamer the ferret, the better say I, so handle them gently and daily from an early age.
