Stalking
GEORGE WALLACE says: I am greatly encouraged to read you have passed up shots because the target was not positively identified.

Unfortunately there isn’t a foolproof method at that time of year ? it is April 26 as I write ? when most Bucks have cast and growing vegetation can make it difficult to see any other distinguishing male features. It is really a matter of being patient, waiting until a positive identification can be made, and hoping the animal doesn’t disappear from view just as you decide it is a shootable buck!
