Clay pigeon shooting: This last season while clay pigeon shooting I missed quite a few straight, high, driven birds directly overhead. I was using a new over-under and a friend standing behind me on one drive said I was shooting to the left.
I have taken on some new ground just four miles from farms which I’ve been ferreting for several years. Apart from two black rabbits netted in the 15 years I’ve been doing it, all the rest of the bunnies have been of ‘normal’ colour.
My children have been ‘gifted’ a couple of ex-working male ferrets by a friend and, although not biters, they smell pretty bad, pee everywhere and can be quite aggressive to each other, especially, funnily enough, if my friend has been round. Any suggestions?
Rabbiting purse nets: I buy ready-made 4ft purse nets which work fine on grass and other open ground but I seem to lose a lot of rabbits in any cover. Is this usual, or am I not setting them correctly?
