BSA R12 CLX Pro – Cayenne Edition

The R12 CLX introduced a 12-shot action and a slick CNC-machined breech block. The Cayenne Edition adds a fully adjustable laminate stock with stunning looks and superb ergonomics. Raise the butt pad and adjust the soft-touch cheekpiece for a perfect sight picture.

This model features a 480cc carbon-fibre bottle and a side lever with a biathlon-style handle for smooth operation. It includes a two-stage trigger, cold hammer-forged barrel, regulated action and BSA’s Customer Configurable Shroud (CCS).

Two colour-coded magazines are supplied, and optional 20- or 16-shot versions are available. The Cayenne Edition comes with a padded hard case. Stylish, precise and powerful, it’s a classy hunting tool that performs in the field.

Weihrauch HW95K Adjustable

Weihrauch’s new adjustable-stock HW95K arrived in early 2024 and quickly caught attention. The HW95K remains a top-quality, full-powered break-barrel springer — light, accurate and durable.

This version comes with a silencer and a matte black finish that contrasts with the chemically blued barrel. The gold Rekord trigger adds a touch of class, while the new slimline hardwood stock provides comfort and grip with laser-cut stippling.

The adjustable cheekpiece operates with a push button, moving through six anchor points. The butt pad adjusts for both height and offset angle — ideal for custom fit and perfect shooting position.

Reximex Lyra

Turkish manufacturer Reximex is now ten years old and continues to offer great value PCPs packed with features. The Lyra uses Turkish walnut in an ambidextrous sporter stock with attractive figuring and a slim, balanced profile.

It includes a cheekpiece, laser-cut chequering, Picatinny rail, ½” UNF muzzle thread and side-mounted manometer. The rifle comes with a two-stage adjustable trigger, two multi-shot magazines, a single-shot tray and in-guard manual safety.

A biathlon-style side lever and power adjuster add convenience. Accuracy and consistency are excellent, especially for an unregulated power plant. For a lightweight, affordable hunting PCP, the Lyra is superb value.

RRP £395

Stoeger XM1 Scout

The Stoeger XM1 Scout’s full-length barrel shroud and adjustable cheekpiece give it a distinctive look. The rifle comes with an impressive kit including two magazines, a single-shot tray, spare seals, three Picatinny rails, Allen keys, and a 3-9×40 AO scope with mounts.

This 7.3lb sporting rifle switches easily from single- to multi-shot. It has a regulated action, side-lever control and solid all-metal build. The full-length synthetic stock and matte finish make it robust and weather-resistant.

Performance and consistency are much improved over the original XM1. With good balance, strong design and great value, the XM1 Scout deserves more attention from hunters.

RRP £590

FX Dynamic Compact Takedown

As the name suggests, this FX model is a takedown rifle that disassembles into a compact 22×17.75” case. Assembly is quick and simple — screw the bottle section into the rear of the action until sealed.

The magazine holds 22 shots in .177 and 18 in .22 calibre. The FX Smooth Twist STX barrel system ensures excellent accuracy. The 11.75” barrel sits inside a pressurised shroud that doubles as the plenum chamber, adding rigidity and performance.

Sub-12ft/lb models omit the power adjuster roller, keeping the design streamlined. Accuracy is outstanding, with tight groups at 30 to 40 yards. It’s an ultra-compact hunting machine ideal for discreet fieldwork.

RRP £1,410

BRK Brocock Concept Lite

PCPs now make up over a third of airgun sales, and it’s easy to see why. The BRK Brocock Concept Lite XR is simple to use, compact and packed with performance.

Operating the sidelever is smooth, cycling effortlessly between shots. The light, crisp trigger with adjustable blade adds control and precision. Despite its radical, rail-based design, the rifle feels balanced and practical in the field.

The Concept Lite XR is a worthy evolution of Brocock’s earlier designs, offering refined handling and quality build. For anyone seeking a compact, reliable hunting PCP, this is one of the best options available.
