Beat Keeper Position – Marrington Estate

A rare opportunity has arisen for a beat keeper position at Marrington Estate, a prestigious and expanding family shoot in south Shropshire, a mixture of partridge and pheasant averaging 35-40 days per season. The role is open to an enthusiastic and motivated applicant with a minimum of 3 years proven experience within a game keeping role. The successful candidate will have a full clean driving licence, full firearms and shotgun licence and a team of working dogs.

The role includes:

• Working closely with the Head Keeper and communicating with the wider estate team

• Vermin Control: experience in all Game Keeping practices, welfare of birds and a meticulous eye for detail and cleanliness

• Safe handling of ATV’s, UTV’s,Tractor, Chainsaws, Strimmer (tickets an advantage)
