We are seeking a Lecturer in Game and Wildlife
Sparsholt College has a national reputation of training gamekeepers and wildlife managers and we have an exciting opportunity to join our team.
You will deliver theory and practical teaching to full-time and part-time courses and should possess a wide range of relevant and current experience and skills in gamekeeping and rearing, wildlife and habitat management, and a more general involvement in the field sports industry. Ideally you will hold an appropriate specialist qualification together with a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to attain both. The role will include working closely within our supportive Land and Wildlife team based at our stunning campus in Winchester.
You will need to be self-motivated and have the aptitude to work with young people and a desire to educate the next generation of gamekeepers. The successful applicant will be trained and supported to attain recognised teaching and assessing qualifications and hence we are happy to support someone seeking a career change.
