This is my preferred method of giving them water and the bottle can be as large or small as you need it to be. From small kits to ageing ferrets, whenever a bottle is positioned in their hutch or run, it is only a matter of moments before they start to lick the ball in the spout for fresh water. Of course, you can still keep the bowl as they obviously enjoy playing in water, but there must be ample fresh clean water for them to drink at all times.
