Before putting the first line on the drawing board for the Maxus 2, Browning carried out a widespread survey of European hunters. What do you expect from a semi-auto shotgun? The answers allowed them to improve a number of features, making the Maxus 2 a gun that meets the highest standards in terms of performance, versatility, comfort and ergonomics.
100% ADJUSTABLE STOCK
The stock is fully adjustable thanks to a set of inserts that come with the gun. The Inflex II 32mm recoil pad can be replaced by a 12, 20 or 25mm pad to reduce the length of the stock, which can itself be shortened.
The Inflex II recoil pad directs recoil downwards, away from your face
100% COMFORTABLE STOCK
The Inflex II recoil pad directs recoil downwards, away from your face. The stock also has a cheek pad with Reactar gel, which absorbs recoil extremely effectively.
100% ALL-TERRAIN GUN
The five Invector+ chokes that come with the gun enable you to deal with all the situations that you can face in hunting or sports shooting activities. The Maxus II can reliably fire all loads from 28 grams.
Perfect grip
100% ERGONOMIC
Rubber overmolding panels on the forearm and pistol grip ensure a perfect grip regardless of climatic conditions. The bolt handle and trigger guard are oversized for easy handling, even with gloves.
EASY LOADING
A groove on the trigger guard allows you to instinctively insert cartridges into the magazine tube. The loading port is rounded to make loading more comfortable.
The Maxus 2 is available in wood and composite
