Up to 30 teams of four guns and four loaders will compete across six different stands. The shooting will be followed by a champagne reception, three-course lunch, raffle and auction. The proceeds of the raffle and auction will be shared equally between ABF The Soldiers Charity and the GWCT.
Friday’s event will be centred around the GWCT while Monday’s event will be centred around ABF The Soldiers Charity, which is the Army’s national charity.
Prizes include the chance to dine alongside the Red Arrows when the RAF aerobatics display team are in attendance at the event on June 5.
Sophie Dingwall of the GWCT said: “It’s a real privilege for the GWCT to be invited to join forces with ABF The Soldiers Charity and build upon this already very successful and established event.”
The cost of one team entry is £1,800 with a charge of £60 for additional guests.
