Anti-gun police chief elected in Derbyshire
Labour’s Alan Charles is the only one of 41 newly elected Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) to have publicly stated before the elections that he does not support the private ownership and use of firearms in accordance with the current law.
Fourteen PCCs failed to state their position on the subject, following questioning by BASC.
