The barrels feature flush-fit multichokes along with 76mm chambers proofed for high-performance steel and chrome lined, as most current guns are. Being such thin-walled choke tubes, there is no noticeable flare to the muzzles as with some guns, just a sleek and slender profile. The rib is 6mm parallel full length with very shallow ventilation slots adorning the centre section; sighting is by one nickel bead at the muzzle. The balance point is about 5mm behind the hinge and this seemed to suit the gun well, with
a total weight of 6lb 1¼oz.
Beretta has made the stock proportions pretty much spot on. Length of pull at 14 ¾in is definitely
an adult-size gun yet as the scales prove, this doesn’t put the weight up nor ruin the balance. I’m sure that with 30in barrels the balance wouldn’t move far forward.
