Can I get a Winchester semi-auto instruction manual?
I recently acquired a Winchester 1500 XTR semi-auto, but it didn’t have the instruction manual with it. Any idea where I can get one?

It is surprising how many instruction manuals are available as free downloads from the internet nowadays: washing machines, fridges, cameras – and a few guns.
The Americans seem particularly good at this, and the handbooks for most current and recent Winchester models are available to those who have internet access.
Yes, I know it says Model 1400, but the one manual covers the 1400 and the 1500 XTR.

Browning owners should go to www.browning.com, stay with the North America site, and follow the “customer service” then “manuals” links.
