It is surprising how many instruction manuals are available as free downloads from the internet nowadays: washing machines, fridges, cameras – and a few guns.
The Americans seem particularly good at this, and the handbooks for most current and recent Winchester models are available to those who have internet access.
Yes, I know it says Model 1400, but the one manual covers the 1400 and the 1500 XTR.
