Construction work on BASC’s £750,000 communications centre in Wrexham started on 21 June. The Welsh Assembly’s shadow minister for rural affairs, Brynle Williams AM, visited the site along with BASC chief executive John Swift and contractors Pochin. BASC’s chief executive John Swift said: “It has been five years in the making to get to this point and I am absolutely delighted that we have got here.”

The two-storey building will contain TV filming facilities, a soundproofed studio, a fully equipped design studio and videoconferencing facilities.
