Shotgun licence.
Labour?s Ron Hogg (pictured) was speaking after an IPCC inquiry found that Durham Police had made ?inexcusable? blunders when dealing with a man who later shot dead three people with legally-held firearms.

Mr Hogg said: ?I think it should be changed so that every individual applying for a firearm has to give open access to their medical records: it would put the onus on the applicant.?

The comments were criticised by BASC, which says that the focus should be on the proper application of existing laws, rather than the creation of new ones.
