Game-to-Eat launches Shot for the Pot fundraiser

Shot for the Pot: The Countryside Alliance, which oversees the running of the Game-to-Eat campaign, is inviting its members to host Shot for the Pot events – such as a dinner or drinks party – involving wild game and local British produce during the course of the week.

It is requested that guests be charged £10 to attend a Shot for the Pot event, with the money then being donated to the Countryside Alliance.

To register their Shot for the Post event hosts simply sign up to the Game-to-Eat website www.gametoeat.co.uk

The Game-to-Eat website will provide information and advice during the Shot for the Pot fundraising week, including:

Articles introducing hosts to game.

A “where to buy game” database featuring local butchers and game dealers.

Brand new recipes from various chefs and celebrities.

The location of nationwide game-related events being held during the week.
