After previous measures failed, plans have been revealed to hire birds of prey to scare pigeons away from the Scottish Parliament building

However, critics said that using birds of prey to tackle the pigeon plague at Holyrood will simply shift the problem to other people’s properties. Plans include signing up a falconry service on a four-year contract costing £13,000
for the first year.
