HOW TO SPOT LIVER FLUKE
George Wallace
Liver flukes are small, flat, dark brown creatures living in the liver ducts and they can be found by incising the liver.

Their presence is usually indicated by mottling of the liver’s surface, so a problem can normally be seen immediately.

In all cases of suspected problems, the liver should be destroyed – which does NOT mean giving it to your dog!

It does not affect the rest of the carcass.
