Two Internet petitions have been set up to “Stop the Deer Cull in the UK”, even though there is no planned nationwide cull.
The e-petition, set up in the UK by C. J. Feary, had 66 signatures when Shooting Times went to press, while thepetitionsite.com demands that “all alternatives be exhausted before such drastic steps are taken — like contraception, for example”.
This had attracted 12,000 signatures.
